A few days before, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had declared that the test schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2021 will be declared by CBSE on February 2. Earlier, the minister had aforesaid that CBSE board exams 2021 will commence from May 4 to June 10 and results will be out by July 15.

Eligibility Criteria for CBSE Class 10th Compartment Exam

A CBSE 10th standard student needs to follow the following criteria to appear for the Compartment test:

1) Scholars are eligible to apply for this test only when they were placed in Compartment for one or two exams.

2) Scholars who had appeared in 10th Board exams, but, were placed in the criteria of Eligible for Improvement of Performance (EIOP)

3) Scholars who fall under the EIOP criteria can get only one opportunity to appear for this test.
 
CBSE Class 12th Compartment test Eligibility Criteria -

A scholar has to satisfy the subsequent criteria to appear for the CBSE Compartment test:

1) Those scholars who have failed any one of their subjects can appear for this test.

2) In case, scholar appeared for 6 subjects during her/his boards in March and failed in 2, and then she or he can appear for any of the 2 subjects.

3) Scholars who appeared from 6 subjects were declared PASS but failed in one subject – they can appear within the Improvement category for this test.
